Is there a way to have a post automatically expire?

We have a need for posts to automatically clean up (members don't take care of their posts and it's a lot of work) after a certain amount of time and was wondering if is possible to have posts self destruct, thanks in advance.

Normally I'm not so dense but life has given me too many curves of late...

I'm trying to associate a skin to one of the forums I have (i.e. the main forum uses a skin and I want to use another one for the other portion of the forum). Someone that runs another forum was kind enough to try and explain it but I don't understand the explanation. Here is what I'm trying to do which they have been able to accomplish.........

Forum Disappeared

I was rearranging forums and categories and a forum has disappeared from the list of subforums. The forum is THERE, but it won't show in the list of subforums.

Missing forum:
The forum is called Entrance Hall and should be listed as a subforum under Ground Floor

Question on yuku supporter status.

I just paid some money ( $18.00) to a yuku board via the contribution method. I got a message saying that 3 months supporter status would be added to my subscription I already have.

My question is twofold.

First is this an ongoing feature or is there an expiry date.

Second if a now non supporter did this would they get supporter status also?

Security Breach: Someone logged into another person's account

I've heard about problems with people occasionally logging into someone else's account through some Yuku glitch, but I thought this was resolved. Apparently not, as someone on my board has just reported that when he logged into his Yuku account, someone else's came up and he had access to the person's mail!!!

bbs editor not working for "Quote"

I found today when I click on the "Quote" option on a post, I'm no longer thrown into an editor populated with bbcodes, as it used to be, but rather one populated with fairly complex HTML (it's just the bbcode editor with the HTML "button" forced on, and can't be turned off.) New Private Account How Do I Approve Members?

I am going crazy here! I just set up a new account for a condominium association. Most of the building owners do not currently have a Yuku account. I have asked them to sign up and because we want to restrict the members to owners only, I need to approve each person for each of the three forums within this new account. I hope this is clear. I have received messages that new members are pending but I cannot figure out what I need to do to actually approve them so they can all read, post...

Posts disappearing!

At my board Bluebird Nut Cafe replies to new posts that were made yesterday have disappeared! They were not deleted by either myself or my one moderator. This isn't funny, people have serious questions, we take the time to reply to them, and then the replies disappear!

Hidden Replies showing in "last post" column

I checked and this may be listed as a fixed bug (not sure if it means the same thing), but I hid replies by a spammer on my board, and even when I'm logged out I can still see them listed in the Last Post column on the main page. He's also showing in the Last Post column inside the forum.

See him listed in the Lobby forum as Ivoryking72590.

I'm having problems with my avatars showing on my forum. I've uploaded the images from my computer but even though the picture shows in my profile when I then go into the forum it still shows a blank space there. What am I doing wrong?

MBA Member Management Messed Up

I have several MBA forums for which suddenly all members are on 'deny access' and I can't seem the change it back in any way.

This happened when I tried to make an new dynamic auto list of members that have last been seen more than 2 months ago so that their access for the MBA forums would be taken away again. But the list kept giving me trouble because several times when I had changed something and clicked 'save' and then clicked 'edit list' again, the...

Suggestion: 'View ALL Friends' Option

{I have put this suggestion in the Suggestion Box, but I would also like to post it on the forums so other Yuku members can chime in.}

Currently, only 10 of our Friends can be seen at first glance on our Profile page [unless the person viewing the profile clicks the "View All Friend(s)" button].

This puts me in the unenviable position of having to chose which of my friends get "top billing," and which to push into the back room on another page...

Post With Date Bug

This topic was posted this morning. It is dated 5/10/03.

My board migrated from Ezboard to Yuku on 5/1/08. Since that time, we've seen a few wrong dates on migrated posts (as far back as 1956) but this is the first time I've noticed an old date on a new Yuku post.

What is causing this to happen?
