To be anonymous on yuku, log into your yuku account.
Click the navigation button at the top right of your screen

If you use firefox you can download the yuku firefox extension. This extension notifies you of any activities on your active yuku profile no matter where you are on the internet.

What is an extension, why is it there, how did it get there and how can I get rid of it?

Every username on yuku has an extension. The two most common ones are .u and .nameofcommunity.
The usernames that have .u behind them are called global profiles while the one with the name of a community behind them are called local profiles.
