Migrating to yuku?

Yes, I know my EZBoard forum has been asleep for quite some time...

Still, I visited it now and was suggested by the site itself to migrate to yuku. Very well. I entered the my-specific-name.yuku.com, entered the little verification code to prove I'm human, and was taken to...
...a newly created, empty forum.

Why empty? Can't I migrate my ezboard to yuku? Is this expected behavior, or am I doing something stupid, or has something gone wrong?

I have recently created a community site on Yuku but when I attempt to enter other community sites I am asked to log in via my ezboard account which I don't have - is there anyway to be invited onto other communities without trying to go unsuccessfully through ezboard accounts which i assume are now dead?

I'm still on Ezboard and am receiving free gold -- this is just an ad or two from google adsense. We're happy with this and would like to continue on with it. We also want to upgrade to yuku -- will I still receive free gold in Yuku?

Yuku Find

Hi,

My board moved from Ezboard to Yuku one month ago (thanks again, Chris !). However, the new url / key words do not appear yet in Yuku Find, despite the fact that I updated those in my board management panel a few weeks ago.
Can you please confirm how often is updated the Yuku Find ?

On another note, you may want to add a category "Foreign Languages" or something similar.
Indeed, it would be nice to be able to easily find all the non-English boards...

Help With Member Registration

When we were on ezboard, I had my community (http://brownstownbacktalk.yuku.com/) set up so that people did not have to register before posting. Is there a way to do that on Yuku? If there is, I haven't found it. Please help, I have quite a few senior citizens who use the board and need it to be as uncomplicated as possible. I'm getting emails left and right to change it back and I can't figure out how.

Hi, I was an administrator of a community back on EzBoard, that has now been transferred to Yuku: http://theseventhhorcrux.yuku.com I am planning on reviving the site. However, when I go to the Yuku control panel, the board is not listed. Is there a way for me to regain my admin. status?

i used to be admin of the message board named "champoo" but after it got moved to http://champoo.yuku.com , i no longer have access to to it in my yuku account. do i have to contact the original creator of the champoo boards to get back my admin rights?!?! that would tough since she left it more than a few years ago. please help.

EZBoard to Yuku - Private Community Membership, Profile Deleted?

I was a member of a private community that recently migrated from EZBoard to Yuku. After the migration, I was prompted to reapply for membership to the community. From my end, it shows that I've applied for community membership and I should wait for a response from the Administrator. However, my Administrator said from her end, it shows that my profile was deleted.

I'm not sure what happened. Any advice?

I recall back when Yuku was first released there were questions about whether data from an old ezboard could be transferred to/from a new Yuku board. At the time the answer was no. I am going to guess this is still the case? Both forums are now Yuku, so technically it should be possible to move stuff from one sufolder to another on the server, but it is something that the staff were not interested in doing. There is a group that was not able to be migrated however a place was reserved for it. The Name of it is Pips Domain. I was AM in that group on MSN and I would like to do something with it here in Yuku. Could I be made owner of the group? I would like to see it going. Thank you in advance.

I've decided to reactivate an old (not migrated) ezBoard and have to realize that administration is no longer working. When I click on "My Community" in Control Center I end up in Yuku which does not know my board.
