adds on add-free board

Hi,

I am getting adds on http://dissociativeidentitydisorder.yuku.com/ . We have always had an add-free board. Why am I seeing adds?

Updating group description in "Find"

I'm curious why the description for our group isn't showing up when using the "Find" function ~ we had a description originally, which "went missing" a couple of months ago ~ and we updated the description a number of weeks ago ~ the numbers [members, posts, etc] are also outdated ~ is there some schedule when "Find" is updated? ~ "Find" is a great function IF/WHEN it is current ~

New member not showing up

Usually a newbie posts in one of my unrestricted threads or applies to a closed one and I can find them on the members list and approve them from there. This newbie did both, I approved the request for admission to the closed thread, but can't find her anywhere on the member list...?

One of our members posted that the community time was still on DST. No big deal as I went in and changed it but then found that I also had to reset my own personal time. I think that's a little much to expect of everyone.

Don't remember having this problem in the spring.

OK, just saw the post in the announcements. Does this mean everyone is going to have to adjust their own personal time themselves?

(:rolleyesHi, all my smilies etc. can only be posted at the beginning of my posts. None will insert in the middle or end of a sentence. Only am able to post smilies at the beginning of the sentence.

If you see, I tried to post those at the end of the paragraph and they show up at the beginning.

I am using IE 8. Windows XP.

He has not been able to post a new thread or reply to an existing thread since June 2009. He can log in and use private messaging, but every time he starts a thread or replies to an existing thread and hits...

time/caching issues?

For several days I have had some minor issues that appeared like caching issues.

I go into a forum, look at an unread post, go to the index and the thread will sometimes be marked unread still.

Usually after about a minute the problem goes away all by itself, it's never an "endless" repeating problem.

But today I noticed something else... I replied to a post, came back a bit later and ... my reply is in the thread before the question that I had...

posts vanishing and reappearing

Must be close to Halloween.

Some posts to http://expentecostalforums.yuku.com/ today have been acting weird. E.g., I posted a reply to a thread, but it didn't show up in the thread view, for a while. Refresh didn't help. But now it's there. Another member reported similar oddness.

Can't get into Raven's Forum

I was on the Raven's Paint Shop pro forum for around 3 minutes responding to a message and then when I pressed the preview button I was kicked out that screen. When I attempted to used the back button on the browser I got the following message: "That page does not exist"

I have been trying for the last three minutes to get back to the forum page but it's not happening.

Is there some problem with the forum or what?

Member can't post pictures

The first thing I told her about was IE8 and the compatibility view and gave her a link to the fix and also asked her to empty her cache... neither helped. She can upload them to her yuku images, but when she clicks the icon to insert them in a post, she gets an error. Here is her post about it.

The page at first looks fine then when I click on the icon to upload pictures in the left hand corner it will say error on page then nothing..

Her sign on name is crittersmom and...

How often is this supposed to happen? I noticed the date of our last backup was June 29th 2009. From a "safety" point of view, shouldn't this be a more regular occurrence?

The Insert Flash button doesn't work at Realitysucks right now and usually it does, is there a way
around it? Like the way we do images? [img] [/.img]'s?

I checked several other boards and its working at them, but not there.

Hello, I was trying to add a picture to a new topic and all I get is error on the page. It will not allow me to post a picture. Also I can't open the smileys either very irritating!!!
