to this thread, I also had trouble understanding the vote when I joined last Autumn.

I love this kudo rainbow star, the heart is pretty good too.

Both the singular form kudo and kudos as a plural are today most common in journalistic writing. Some usage guides warn against using them.

Actually, "kudos" is plural for "kudo," although in usage it is usually constructed in the plural -- although both the singular and plural are correct:

I'm not a linguist, but I think both kudo and kudos forms are acceptable, even though kudos seems to be the preferred one. The confusion is that kudos seems to be the plural of kudo, which it is not. Therefore people have to the tendency to use

The problem I have with that image, to be perfectly honest, is that it is too tiny. That's my hot button issue with people who design message boards and cell phones, etc. (i.e., people who do computer stuff): they are mostly designed by 20-somethings with fantanstic eyesight, and so because they have fantastic eyesight, they make everything super tiny. Thank you. I used PSP and Animation Shop to make them. I also have Adobe Photoshop, but I am still learning how to use it and get the most out of it.

And it was only just TODAY that I suddenly realized why people have been putting this VOTE image in the comments section of my profile. They have been giving me a kudo.

All this time, I thought there was some sort of game going...
