No . You can post yuku hosted images from one account on another. I do that will my smilie folder all the time. I open

the ones from my own board, but use them...

Sorry to butt in, but those in my experience, arbitrary claims, are often the result of personal grudges. I still remember my MSN Groups days when it was often
used to attack other posters. There is a pretty clear line between abuse and use, while the companies that host those images can block (ab)use by checking the
referral. So as long as the hoster doesn't complain and there isn't a clear example of actual abuse I can't see why Yuku would bother. Just look at
the implications,...

Joyce, I can only guess because the Legal queue is not something with which I'm involved. My guess is that a complaint that comes from the owner of the
image or the website where the image is stored is necessary for Yuku Legal to take action. Legal's action could take (for example) the form of a warning
for the board, a warning for a specific repeat offender, the removal of images or posts that contain hotlinked images, the locking down of a board that allows

I think the best explanation I've ever seen for bandwidth theft is that it's like running a long extension cord over to your neighbor's house in
the dead of night, stealthily plugging it in there, then going back to your own house and connecting all of your electrical items to that cord. You're
stealing your neighbor's electricity and your neighbor gets stuck with paying the bill. Some neighbors may not care, especially if you ask first, but
others may yank the cord out...

I think it's a case of making sure as a board owner that you wont tolerate bandwidth theft.

Having said that. Many people that are new to using a computer haven't a clue what it means. They innocently use other peoples bandwidth having been told
how to get the address url but not having been told how to upload and host images themselves. In fact 9 times out of 10 here on Yuku those that are using
others image urls really are unaware that it just mustn't be done. They...
