We haven't a clue yet what this Blog is going to be about or how it's going to be organised but it certainly should cover all angles of Yuku and not just official type announcements. We have our announcement forum here for that. How boring that blog would be if they only made official Yuku announcements on there. I know I for one wouldn't bother to go visit it. I am pleased to see that it looks as though it's going to have a variety of different type...

A newcomer would read that blog entry and not know where to find people.is the point of the blog entry to help people on yuku or advertise boards? I came away from it with the feeling it was board advertising,the title said where to find people.
Yuku needs to advertise itself, unfettered by board advert,and not on yuku but all over the net. Advertising boards within yuku is worthless, its only trading members from board to board, not growing the actual member numbers.

I just wanted to say, though, that I think it's a good idea to have various links to various boards -- mostly so that people can see what the boards LOOK like and how they can be designed and organized. Its confusing to link to boards that don't offer help in a blog entry discussing help.
The blog entry says:

Find people on Yuku and online

We sometimes hear from people who are looking for old friends on Yuku

Then there are links to private boards, those boards have nothing to do with finding people.The link to where to find people is in the 4th paragraph, it should be in the first.The private board links shouldn't...

I disagree Bob. Why not have the occasional link to any specific board within a post that is relevant. The whole idea of an official blog isn't just for present Yuku members to keep up with official news but also to draw others in from around the web. And the link to the Hockey Board...

if I have to explain it, you wouldn't undertand it in the first place, therefore wouldn't understand the explaination in the second place.

@ DrHook! Just went to the Tow Truck site! Very active board there!! I have no interest in tow trucks (except when I need one ), but it was interesting to stop by!
