As for MJ, it's hard to pick the "best" of his music, as he produced music for four decades and he embraced so many styles and influences. If I want to have a mellow groove, there is one set of songs. If I want an upbeat fast track, there is another? Want some blues influence? Angry righteous indignation? So, instead I guess at the moment the theme that works for me includes:

Hundreds (maybe thousands) are gathering at the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:26PM Eastern. He reportedly died of cardiac arrest and it is unclear if he ever regained consciousness after EMTs arrived on the scene.

Apparently so many people were logging on to social networking and using email when the story hit that the internet slowed to a crawl. I watched the speech by Al Sharpton and listened to many interviews.
