Non Yuku Question - Search Boxes

I have a new laptop (old one fried) and it has Window Vista and IE 7 (I think).

When I access the Internet via IE7, there are FOUR lines in the browser, EACH with a Search Box. It looks like there's one for/from HP, one from Yahoo,
one from AOL, and one more -- can't tell whose.

How on earth do I get rid of some of these? The various lines take up almost a quarter of the top part of the screen.

Thanks!!

I'm not, lol. I am a download Queen. That is why I am so good at rebuilding my system............ HAHHAHAHA.

But whenever I get anything that won't let me uncheck the radio buttons (actually that never happens to me anymore) I just download it anyway and go back
and uninstall the crap I don't want.

The problem is that a lot of things we download will automatically add an extra toolbar if with don't spot the radio button to refuse it.

Even worse, I've known things I wanted to download and it wouldn't let me uncheck the radio buttons for all the extra stuff. That was a
big no-no. I'm very careful about what I download.

It sounds like you have a bunch of different toolbars installed. You'll need to uninstall them all and each one will likely have a different method. There
should be some sort of settings menu for each and it may have an uninstall option on it. I know Google Toolbar does.
