Someone with a tracker figured out that the most common way spammers found his boards was via the "What's happening right now?" section of Yuku's home page.

A couple of posts up, I'd proposed an option where admins could choose between having the posts deleted, hidden, or left alone. I'd like to modify that to four options: deleted, hidden, left visible and locked, or left alone.

I think it would bother me to have posts deleted on my board by anyone except a board admin, a board mod, or the author of the post.

My suggestion is to make Yuku MBA, or at least, Membership by Approval.

Screen every new applicant before letting them post, make them wait 24 hours before being allowed to post.
