Between forums or between boards? You can move between forums (as example, to move a thread on Support from The Lobby to Bugs they go to the Topic Tools button, either in the thread or on the forum page... which on the forum page you put a check mark in the thread you want to move... in the drop down there's a selection to Move which takes you to a screen to select the forum.) but you can't move a thread to a different board.

They changed the settings here. They were set as historic, where the avatar at the time of posting stays the same. but now it's set to show the new avatar. I didn't notice that until today.

The image I have is my tab image (five spaces wide) and its between these arrows. -- > < --...

gbwoman, it is a 1px x 1px transparent gif. The page was not blank, you just couldn't see it. Right-click the link and save it to your PC. You can upload it from there.

click on your avatar and you can upload any picture from your computer or your photobucket, to replace your avatar.

It does not look like Kathy's Avatar folder is public.

You can replace the avatar with another one, but you can't turn the avatar off.

You can upload a transparent gif and use it as the avatar. I have one in my avatar folder that I use for demonstration purposes, but I tend to forget that I have one and wonder why there is a blank spot in the folder.

I have been updating the help wiki, and my aim is to bring it all into line in the next fortnight (month??). But to make things easier to find, I'd like your suggestions on what simple "How do I...?" questions people ask, and are currently missing from this list.
