That wasn't even an April Fool's joke, that was just me screwing around. A lot of our AFD jokes are actually pretty lame, something we come up with at the last minute because we have to do something. Like switching forums around...I think it was last year that we redirected every forum into a single one, so the many different cliques and cultures at Sucks had to co-mingle for a day. I had a script like that - that I used to 'Welcomed' people as they came to my boards - it never dawned on me I could have had a little 'fun' ...

In the interest of fairness, I'm pretty sure this thread was originally in the Bugs forum.

As far as Sucks stuff becoming everyone's headache, you might not have been around during the ezboard hack a couple of years ago. Shortly after it happened ezboard put up a system message box on the top of every forum, announcing some news updates or something. Well, quite honestly, I think most people expect that board to be a little harsher than most, Daisy. You can tell those who don't go there from those that do (I'm often at a loss when I hear about the things that happen over there). They're 'style' isn't for everyone, compassion isn't quite in their vocabulary. However, it works for them, people post there because of it.
