Been another month. Should I just inform the folk in my community that, in this regard, we've just been force-migrated from EZBoard to an inferior system?

I've been patient, but a static sticky is something that message boards just simply provide. It's like a table of contents in a novel, or page numbers.

I was hoping that with last nights maintenance, that the "sticky" problem would have been repaired. But the disappointment still remains.

Is there any way to get an update on this? I was directed to this thread by support and advised it would be updated when the problem was fixed. Since it's been over a week since the last post here, would it be possible to get some indication as to whether we are days, weeks or months from seeing this feature? Thats fine if you only have a couple to stick. But itsa terrible idea when you have several stickied topic in several different forum areas.......It would get very old very fast for something that should be done automatically All the admin would get done is editing the hidden posts constantly.

On a forum that has only two stickies, and new posts turn them into slipperies, we made a temporary fix by adding a hidden post to the one that should be at the top and editing that post when the topic slips down.
