I guess if someone has more than, say, 50 friends, many of those are not going to be so close that you care where they are -- especially if it's in the hundreds.

So, folks who don't want to display all their friends wouldn't have to, while those who do would be able to.

Currently, only 10 of our Friends can be seen at first glance on our Profile page [unless the person viewing the profile clicks the "View All Friend(s)" button].
