One of my board members from Russia is not seeing the proper text using the Yuku chat. After the user name, the word "says" is not being read
correctly along with some other text in the window. See this image for the problem:

Does anyone know why this is happening? Would this be a problem with the Flash program itself rather than her browser?

Thanks....

When I view the chatroom, the word "says" is in the same font as the other text. So why that one word isn't working is very odd.
"Users" and "All Users" are in a different font, It might be times or Georgia.
I thought I had Opera installed, but I don't, so I can't help with the preferences for that just yet. Here is a page with some information that might
help however: <a target="_blank"...

I've asked and I'm not sure what character set she's using (she's not sure how to find that out).

When you right click on a flash element in a page you do get options, but I am not sure if fonts are one of them. The fonts should be enabled in her system
though, not at browser or flash level. If we can ensure that they are there, and that her browser is set to use them, then we can look elsewhere for the cause
of the problem.
Are you typing in English or Russian? is she the only one having this font problem?

Thanks!
I will ask. Would this be set in her browser or the Flash program (not even sure you can set anything in Flash)? I know she can read the board just fine, so
she must have some western character set enabled other than the Russian character set.

it looks like a font problem, does she have the basic fonts enabled - ie, verdana, arial, trebuchet ? I will see if I can find out what the font is so that we
can check.
