Thanks!
Edit: Okay, I see that "ceco" is a yuku staff person (at least I think so from his profile) but why on earth is there a test post in a new forum I made? Ack!

Added new forum, there's already a post in it, from a nonmember! |

I just created a private forum for admins & mods on my board. I went in to add a post, and the forum should have been totally empty since I just created
it, but there was already a post inside! From August 28th of 2006 by someone who's never been a member of the board before (screen name ceco). The title
is "test topic". How STRANGE! Any idea what's going on with this? Here's a link to the weird post:

Cec is a staff member, and I wonder if that post was made in a previous incarnation of that folder? But you were only just migrated, right?

they are going to ensure that that post is removed from the new forum auto setup.

Here's another one from a different screen name. I created the forum this morning:

That's a very old one, but that one was supposed to be there - unlike the "test" topic!!

It happened again when I created this forum (but I deleted them, there were two this time!):
http://thegardengate2445.yuku.com/forums/62 I realized the posts that are showing up in these forums depend on the type of forum I make (like, this one linked here was read-only). It seems that the posts that show up are the ones that are pre-filled when a new board is created, the ones that tell you what all the different types of forums are. |
