Mimic Forum - Properties not copying across

Posts: 26 25-Mar-08 5:15 AM	Tags : None I've been trying to mimic a forum, but the properties don't copy over. http://learnenglishonline.yuku.com/ I want to allow signatures, and although I click "allow signatures" in the properties of the forum to mimic from, it doesn't copy to the forums I'm mimicking to. Do I have to go into each forum and change them individually?

Posts: 414 25-Mar-08 6:57 AM munificent member	I used mimic to create a private forum the other day, and the forum wasn't private OR invisible like the original. A nonmember said something about it in passing, so we were tipped off, thankfully, before we really started discussing things. We deleted that one and started fresh. NOW it works. It really could have been an embarrassing situation.

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 5204 26-Mar-08 12:46 PM Kudos Lady of the night	I've tested on 4 different boards and was unable to reproduce the problem. (It doesn't necessarily mean that the problem isn't there) When you mimic a forum, are you checking things off in the first section? Forum Features Reading Restrictions Posting Restrictions Poster Permissions Member List If you don't check the desired sections to mimic, it won't mimic. It's a mistake easily made.
