When it comes to my profile, I went from allowing it to be viewed only by my friends to allowing everybody to see it and, now, back to only my friends. When, for a while, everybody was allowed to see my profile, I felt like I was allowing any stranger to come into my house - and that made me uncomfortable. I am curious how you feel about this.

I see that most of the members here have profiles viewable by everybody. I am one of the few who only allows friends to view my profiles. That's because,
even though there are no secrets posted on my profile, I do provide bits and pieces about myself through the pictures, quotes, comments and reflections posted
there. I don't want to give total strangers a glimpse of ME because, in the many years I've been on the internet, I learned not to trust strangers. Sad
but true!

Speaking for my family as well as myself, only part of our profiles is visible because in the past we've had stalkers. Not a pleasant experience! Only
reveal publicly what you are comfortable with.

Mine is all viewable...cause I basically care less who looks at it, lol. I do lock my front door to my house though
 . Mostly because my dog stands up and
opens the door to get out if I don't.

what of me comes online with me.

That's also not counting my swords, daggers, and wizard staffs that I own, most of which I have pack away because I don't have the room to properly display them. Or the suits of armor, the chain mail, crystal balls, shields & the family crests. Don't even get me started on the dragon sculptures I own either. |

Mine is open to everyone, but then I have always used my real name on bulletin boards and never worried about it. Guess there are not many that want to stalk
