I am a moderator of Deidre Knight's forum. When people register, sometimes the registration says they are registered halfway through the process. Then they
can't use their names to finish the registration.

I picked 2 forums at random and didn't have a problem with quick reply. Is there a forum in particular that this is happening in?
Any solution to this will likely require admin level attention; do they know about this? |

The Quick Reply boxes change from white to black randomly. Today I am not seeing any, but when I see another one turned black, I'll post and tell you where
it is. Administration does know about this and asked me to contact you for a fix.

We haven't heard this registration problem before, what happens when it "finsishes"? Can you give us the email of someone who registered an account but didn't get to make a profile name? (You can pm that to me) |

on a pc you should have a "print screen" button (prt scrn possibly). Then paste what is on the clipboard into an imaging program and save as a jpg.
I wonder if it's related to the css. It's not black for me, I've never seen it go black, so it's hard to pinpoint what you're seeing. |

Perhaps related to the Quick Reply problem:
Using the WYSIWYG-editor to change the color-settings for Quotes, seems to effect the settings for Quick Reply as well! Somehow the settings for Quotes are copied to Quick Reply. You see this when you click "Save" after changing the Quotes-settings, and then return to the "Topic" tab of the WYSIWIG-editor. |

Chris, the quick reply is working now, thank you.
But I now have two more questions:
1) Why have public ads shown up in the replies when the board is paid for? 2) When I try to move topics, and even the administration level has this problem, all of the topics don't show up in the choice menu. Thank you, Nancy |

There is no contributor history for that board. Did you pay for it or did someone else? The person who paid for the board needs to submit a ticket. http://www.yuku.com/help/ticket We'll get this sorted out at the help desk as soon as possible. Can you link me to a forum and tell me which topics I can move and to which forum? I'll test it out and see what is going on. What browser are you using to move the topics? |
