What attracted me was the garden and the potential it held ti run a smallholding again because quite close by is lush green pasture for the remnant of Lyra's flock and a large henhouse where Tara keeps her beady-eyed rapacious hens though well away from accessing my kitchen! I promised some photos of my back yard, our favourite patio flowers and front garden, so here they are though how they survived the last 3 days of raging gales is beyond me.
Boudica Rose
The back yard is stepped of 2,000 square metres of clay but stony soil having olive trees, almonds, figs and somewhere, peach trees though I have yet to find them.

Front - with George from Telendos helping out.
Without his hard work we wouldn't have a garden!
