URGENT!!! Profile Problem |

My profile reverted to an earlier version. Some of my more recent changes have disappeared. I have redone one section that was easier to do, but another
section where I had lots of things I can't redo and why should I waste my time again??? Look at the section Who Am I, right under the avatar section. That
part was filled with items that are now gone. What is going on here and why is this happening????

Now the two sections in my TigerLady profile (which I have added recently) have totally disappeared. First the content of the boxes disappeared, but the empty
boxes were still there. I tried to add back some of the content that was initially gone, but now everything vanished. I am totally upset about this whole
thing. I don't have a lot of time usually, but when I had a bit more free time, I put a lot of work into improving my TigerLady profile and now all that
work and time is wasted. So far I don't have this problem with my SmokieTopaz profile, but I don't think that I made any changes to it recently.
Anyway, I want my TigerLady profile back to the way it was just a few hours ago!

Are you saying that they will not be able to restore the changes I have made a week or so ago? Are they working on preventing this from happening again? I will
not make any attempts to redo what I lost until I'm sure that this problem is eliminated for good. Aren't the posts you directed me to referring to
boards reverting to older settings? Will the fix work for profiles, too?
The weird thing is that ezboard once had this problem, too, or a similar one. Changes made to profiles (boards?) would not stick. The developers were not able to fix that problem for quite sometime.

Are you saying that they will not be able to restore the changes I have made a week or so ago? I'm not saying anything of the kind. I am reiterating Alison's words in another thread about this topic, not insinuating anything about the bug itself or what will and will not be done. I honestly don't know what it means in terms of getting your profile back. The other day I lost a few comments and kudos because of it reverting, and a day later it was back to 'current' again. |

whatever causes this problem was not fixed on Monday. I am not going to redo what was lost in my profile until I know that this problem is taken care of. Can
you tell me when this will be looked into and fixed?

You guys told me that all the problems with my profile had been fixed. Well, I decided today to work on the blocks with missing information in my profile. After I hit save, DISASTER!!!!! All my profile blocks, except one, are now EMPTY!!!!! I am really fuming now. My profile problem went from bad to worse. I put a lot of work and time in it and now everything is gone. I want you to bring back my profile to the way it is supposed to be. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!

It is weekend and the developers won't be around though. I'll be replying to your ticket, but the only thing I can tell you is to wait until the weekend is over so that the developers can come back to this topic and take another look. I think we have another topic in this forum somewhere about missing content in a profile block. I'll gather the information and let the developers know, but I'm afraid that this is all that can be done over the weekend. I am sorry for the inconvenience and I know it's frustrating. Hang in there, it will get sorted out. |

Thanks, Chris. It is perfectly fine for the developers to take care of this problem when they come back to work. I just didn't want this problem to be
ignored and not looked into. I am not going to make any changes to my TigerLady profile until I get the green light to go ahead and do it.

If you see this first before you see my reply to your ticket, please check your email for my reply. I've sent you a cached version of your profile page in
case you would want to copy and save the text block to make sure it is safe.

I copied the picture blocks, too, and saved them to my board. I am sure that I will be able to copy and paste both pictures and text from my board into my
profile. That is one of the yuku features that I really like.

You're right. I googled TigerLady today and they already cached the damaged profile.
BTW, I added an apology for the appearance of my profile, and that message is still there. It did not disappear like everything else on it. Go figure!
