I use Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.14 and have found that my posts more often than not do not stay. I it will go through the process, but when you go to look at the final product, there is nothing there. It seems to be mostly tied to replies to other posts.

Is that covered here or do they just never appear?
Are you making posts but they end up showing no content? Do you have the URLs of some examples? Does this happen on a particular board or forum? Are you using Windows Vista? |

The posts simply do not post. As if they were never submitted. I am on Vista and have another system with XP Home. Two different systems same issue, it is
impossible to give links, as there is no post to be linked to, only the posts in which I tried to reply.

Hello!
I am having the same problem occasionally and unpredictably. I have Vista, FF, and my board is http://friendswithoutborders.yuku.com/directory . I will type message in quick reply (and it's usually a long one when this happens) hit Quick Reply and it will go to a reply screen with nothing in the text box, but if I push the back button on my browser I can cut/copy the text, push the forward button and paste it. Now last time this happened it still didn't take. So I exited the forum, came back to the topic, pushed reply, and pasted the post and it still didn't take. I tried a few more times and no good. Got frustrated went to compose email pasted it there (to have some place safe to save it until the problem was fixed) along with an advising note as to why I was sending it to her (another admin), pushed send and got warning can't send blank email. Well  . So I tried 2 more times. I finally just pasted the info in email sent it and sent
separate email with explanation.
Now this has happened before. It was a while ago and even the admin of the board couldn't post (we were in chat at the time). So we both posted to the admin section a test post then returned to where we wanted to post and posted with no problems. I do have the emails and the web addy (URL???) for it if you want it, for the most recent one, and I still might have the older one. Thanks

This may be a different problem. What you are experiencing is as if there is no text entered.
Just one more question for you to clarify a point you made. You are actually typing this and not pasting it from Word or something? |
