Posts: 53 11-Jun-09 2:57 PM	Tags : None Is there any way to disable the noise on those stupid 'Beat the Celeb' Ads....the boxing ones. Its sooooooooooo annoying and I'm sure if people want to go play the stupid game then they will regardless of whether its got noise or not. We are lucky in our community that our members have contributed to keep the site ad free but that ad is enough to make anyone leave Yuku.

Posts: 53 11-Jun-09 7:50 PM	Thats all good and well if you aren't wearing a head set and trying to work.......if I turn the volume down or mute it how does one talk or hear what the other person is saying. These ads dont stop making the noise because one is doing something else and has a page open that has them........and they are on a LOT of pages. Yuku should consider the type of ads they feature!!!!

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 13731 11-Jun-09 8:13 PM Yuku Help	Aus, when was the last time you saw one of those ads? We removed those ads yesterday. People complained about them, and we did agree that they were disturbing. If we missed any then we need to find and disable them.

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 13731 11-Jun-09 9:31 PM Yuku Help	The ads we removed were the auto play video ads. I hate to admit but I'm not quite familiar with the ads as I use my supporter account most of the time. I'd assume that the only ads that make noise are the video ads? If they see those, yes they can report them.

Posts: 53 11-Jun-09 10:49 PM	No....read above lol It was in Support here somewhere though cos I was reading through quite a few posts. I open each post in a new tab and close when I finish reading. So could be one of prob about 10 that I read through this morning.

Posts: 53 14-Jun-09 2:51 PM	Well I just went to the profile that had it 10 mins ago and now theres a 'singles' ad on it. So they must change them around. In fact....I went to about a dozen of my members profiles and they all had the same ad, so my guess is when its on one profile it'd be on all of them???????? Maybe. I'll PM you a link when I find one.....don't have time to go chasing looking for them intentionally

If you are somewhere else, chances are that we will not be seeing the same ads. And yest they rotate
