Recently, every time I try to post on the London After Midnight Community Board I've been getting pop up "Run Time" errors where my computer
freezes & needs to shut down. Why is this so now? It's never happened before. It will allow me one post, then crash. Does this have anything to do
with the "timing" of posts to prevent flame wars or such? But even then after waiting & coming back to post, it still happens. What can I do?

Hi Pixie, are you getting specific codes or messages on the error pop up?
Have a look here: Computer Runtime errors It's a bit of an old help file but has some ideas you might check. For example software changes to your system, viruses, memory etc. Also, which browser do you use to view and which OS? I am not seeing any trouble at LAM in Firefox, IE, Safari or Camino myself. |

This is the "exact" description of the runtime error as follows:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE R6025 -pure virtual function call It happens ONLY while on the LAM Community Board, & while trying to post a reply on the board. |

When you open your browswer do you see a "help" or an "about" link anywhere? If so your browser information will be there.
Something like Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox etc. Your OS you can find (if you are on a PC not an Apple) by clicking on the Start button, then My computer and properties. You may have the "My computer" icon on your desktop also. |
