Posts: 8 3-Nov-09 5:05 AM	Tags : None i wonder if anyone can help me to add from a web site some christmas music.. i used imeem before but they are only giving us 30 secs now ... i have found a site that plays continuous christmas music and they have a code that i copied and pasted onto the css part of the profile. but nothing happened.. if i paste the code here <a href="http://www.donnasholidaysentiments.com/backgroundmusic/continuousplaychristmas.html">Continuous Play Christmas Music</a> is there anyway that you can think of that i could make the code work . or is there any alternative to imeem thats working thanks very much... twychy xxxxx

So it would not really be in your board but when they click the link they would hear it. <a href=http://www.donnasholidaysentiments.com/backgroundmusic/continuousplaychristmas.html target="_new">Continuous Play Christmas Music</a> You might want to add the 'target="_new' as I have above, that way the link will open in a new page and your board will still be open too. The code does not go in your CSS, it is HTML, so add it to your Custom Header if you want it at the top of the board, or your Custom Footer if you want it at the bottom.

Posts: 8 3-Nov-09 6:26 AM	Arizona that works perfectly but i dont think its really what i wanted... lol... trust me to be awkward lol if i download some music to my pc from i tunes... can i make a code to put that on and embed it so that i have music on my profile when anyone looks on there? ive never really done any of this.. just had imeem and that was so easy to use.lol. darn em.. ggg thanks so much for your trouble.. its so appreciated..

Posts: 8 3-Nov-09 6:42 AM	all i really want is one song maybe and for it to play automatically... i know my daughter has i tunes on her pc so i can probably get some sort of christmas music.. i just wouldnt know how to get it onto my profile from her documents.. i know theres a media player on here that plays music too if thats a help lol....... thanks xx

I would recommend you goto a site such as playlist.com and create your song playlist there, you can then use the "generate code" option to get code that you can add to yuku which will work and auto play music etc.. Zoe ive created an account and tried a playlist lol if you can call one song that... but are they supposed to be Youtube videos? cos i only want either a jukebox type thing or something like i had with imeem.. ive put the 30 sec imeem player back on but its not even the one i wanted dont know whether to laugh ,cry or have chocolate ice cream.. gggggg

You can try other playlist sites, but you need to make sure they "stream" the content themselves, rather than using javascript. As only the embed scripts will work on yuku. zoe

Posts: 8 8-Nov-09 12:56 PM	aww thanks for all the help... i managed to find my way around and started to download a playlist but i hit a BRICK WALL.. because of copyright etc they wont load the songs i wanted.. .. ive now gone back to using imeem and have the 30 sec taster.. but thanks so much for all your help xx
