Tried to upload an Avatar on my account; its a 20Kb Jpeg sized to 100x100. I press upload, but still get the blue man. Can you help?

Do you mean it doesn't actually upload at all or it isn't sticking? If the latter did you scroll down and save it if that's not too obvious?

It doesn't give any error messages when I hit upload and the blue picture remains, even after saving. |

Hi David,
I know that upload button is a bit confusing. It means upload from your avatar folder to your profile, not from your computer. To actually upload an avatar, you need to click browse, over to the left of upload. |

Hi there, the process I'm following is :
1. go to profile page 2. click Edit at top of left hand box (showing blue default avatar) 3. Click on the avatar image in the Avatar section of the Edit Block screen 4. In the select an Avatar window click browse and select a jpeg from my local c: drive (resized to 100x100 pixels) |

Not sure if it is related, but when I goto the My Images screen and press upload file I get a message as follows
Oops!
Is there some kind of permissions issue? |

That is the message you would get if you are trying to upload a format that is not a .gif, .png, .jpg or .bmp. What format are you trying to load?

Some of us are having trouble with the changing of our avatars - it will not let us use the new images we have loaded. It shows up in our profile and account
as changed, but when we post, it doesn't show up at all - it shows up as if we have no avatar.. we have been with Yuku for a year and this has just started
happening. Thank you

She is using an old one - we could both use old ones that were already loaded - but not new ones we've uploaded in the past month or two. I will ask her
to change it to a new one as soon as she can...
