Go to the calendar and click on the event that you want to delete.
At the bottom of the event details there should be links that say "edit" and "delete". Is the delete link missing from yours? Edited to add screen shot:

SK, as I mentioned in the post above; I have tried to do this via the edit button
but it is still seen on the calendar.
No the edit button is nSK, as I mentioned in the post above; I have tried to do this via the edit button but it is still seen on the calendar. No the edit button is not missing and I go to edit, delete the event, click post and the message below appears on the top. Oops!
The original event is still displayed on the calendar regardless of what I do on the calendar. |

Perhaps I'm interpreting your post wrong, or you're interpreting mine wrong. I'm saying to click on "delete" and NOT on "edit"
to delete the post. And I'm asking if the link that says "delete" is missing from your calendar events somehow. I'm not talking about the
"edit" link. In the screenshot above, I circled two words "edit" AND "delete".

Thanks for clearing up the confusion! Unfortunately if a link is missing, there isn't anything I can do to help. You'll need one of the yuku gurus to
help you from here! I'm sure someone with magic yuku powers will be along shortly

Hi Tower
. I just checked the settings on that. The admins and mods can delete the entries, but the members cannot (unless the board allows members to delete
their own posts). If the board is set up so members can add entries which yours is, then they can edit the entries they make, but not delete them. One of the
Admins or Moderators would need to do that.
For example I used my other id, arizona.y that had no powers on my board. Then I promoted her to moderator. Then the delete appeared. Then I demoted her back to member but I set our first forum to allow members to delete. Then the delete for the calendar appeared again. But that would give everyone delete access. Either way it is a setting the board admin controls. They can also allow you delete within a forum by adding your name to the exceptions. But that still would give you the ability to delete in the forum also. Some admins don't want the members to be able to delete, but I would just check with them if I were you. Maybe they are unaware the setting is that way. |
