Could someone please tell me how I can enlarge the dialogue box ?
Do we need to keep deleting and recreating until it works ?

Chat room issue |

It took us 4 deletes and recreated to be able to get me to sign in to our chat room. Once in the dialogue box is ¼ size
with no more than 6 lines readable at any one time. No matter how hard and long I look I cannot find a way to enlarge the dialogue.

Still No Rely After Two Weeks. | #4 | ||

I originally post this question 2 weeks ago so I guess to expect a reply just yet is a bit much , but
living dangerously and with a reckless streak I am going to dare to ask the question again and see if I can get the problem resolved.

Just an FYI TA, Ezboard/yuku staff have always said that bumping a thread up to the top won't get you help any faster. In fact it defeats your purpose. I
believe they answer threads in an older to newer posts/threads manner. So bumping your thread is doing you no good.

Well, considering it went 2 weeks without being answered, I'd be upset too. Then gain, I've had to delete and recreate my chat almost 100 times in the
last 2 months. So I get the frustration.
And you know what? I'M NOT DOING IT ANYMORE! If it goes down, my members are instructed to contact Yuku Support with the message that the admin is no longer going to delete and recreate the chat. Yuku will have to do it. |

The bug forum is a more appropriate place for this anyhow. You'll notice the issue about the size has been brought up on a thread dedicated to the chat. As a general rule, the Bug Forum is the place to get help with issues, the Lobby isn't for technical difficulties. The reason is the developers and the people who can assist with issues... don't seem to read the Lobby, their job is to read the Bug Forum. |

That's very true. The main page clearly indicates that this forum is a lobby for general chat etc. Well, considering it went 2 weeks without being answered, I'd be upset too. I can understand the frustration also, but yelling about it won't get it fixed any faster since it is a system wide problem. Bumping up the thread every so often won't help either. It has been the SOP for ezboard/yuku staff to reply to older threads first forever and a day. They look at the date of a thread and if it's just been bumped to them it appears to be a newer thread. I can't even begin to remember all the numerous times people have been told not to bump their threads. |

I think it got through the loop - I was not around during those days and I do not routinely read every single thread in this forum as I do in the bug forum. If
you have a bug, please put in a ticket or report in the bug forum. This forum is NOT a staff manned support forum. It's a community discussion forum.

i get your point, Bob.
Suggestion folks: If you chat goes down, create a category and dump the broke version in there. I'm curious to see how big one's list gets over the course of time. Do it whenever you're told to do it or you have to do it. If Yuku starts seeing boards with dozens of broken clients, they might get the picture that they need to find a better client. |

No I'm not mstaken, using the largest font in chat reduces number of lines to 5 if everyone uses the large font.
