Is there a way to turn off flood control for chat rooms? The wiki shows a flood control section in the Security panel, but it's not listed in mine.

Well, I read this post yesterday and then went hunting in the management controls of my board to see if I could find an answer for you but the only thing I
could think of was maybe the global flood control of the whole board also affects the chatroom.
Originally we did have seperate controls for chat but they seem to have disappeared. I could see nothing that would let us customise the chat seperately now. As I wasn't sure my answer would be correct I thought I would pass over this question for a staff member to answer. But while you wait, have a look see what flood controls you have set for the board and then test out if changing those will affect the chat. I don't have problems with flood control in my chat but then I have the flood controls switched off on my board. So perhaps the answer does lie with the actual board controls.

I think the general reason was that chat stood a better chance of working properly without custom settings.
