Please let us know something about these issues. So that i can tell these new board owners what is going on, before they decide to not use yuku at all..What we are experiencing are short term side effects of the colo move, which in itself will make yuku faster and more reliable in the long run. Yuku moved to a new data centre less than a week ago. Given the huge nature of this move, some side effects were to be expected. While many of the issues resulting from this move were resolved within hours after the system was back on line, some additional issues manifested itself. The team is working hard to sort this out right as we speak. I know that those issues have caused inconvenience, frustration and aggravation to many members. I hope to have an update soon.

Given the huge nature of this move, some side effects were to be expected. Then I wish they had been upfront and said that when they announced the move. You know, something along the lines of, "this is going to improve our service in the longterm but we expect there may be some teething problems over the next few weeks while everything settles down." I'm afraid my gripe working in the world of software support is that very often the developers are not honest enough with their customers, believing that honesty and a clean conscience, combined with a good ethical approach, will only be seen as a weakness in the real world of business. I can understand that to a certain extent but still believe that people hold far more respect for someone who is prepared to hold their hands up and say "hey, I'm sorry, I goofed, and I'm working really hard to fix it." Just my personal opinion. Any resemblance to a person working in software support in southeast England is purely fictional.

Just to let all of you guys know, I have been reporting this happening for a little while and the symptoms might stop and everything might go back to normal
for you and then it will reoccur the next day. It has been happening to me ever since the maintenance. Total function loss of the board for only some members.
Last night it only did it for a couple hours but the night before it was about 6 hours of being down for us.

I can't say I understand how these problems are to be blamed on the new data move when they are the exact same problems we have been having ever since the
big move to Yuku.

I feel as if I'm becoming a stuck record repeating myself over and over. I understand that hiccups can happen but come on tech please sort it out.
The issues for http://acraftynatter.yuku.com/directory are getting worse not better, I managed to stay on Yuku as a whole for no more than an hour spread out over the day, I couldn't even get the log in page up let alone into support to report and I was one of the lucky ones. I hope Yuku is going to give compensation for those who pay for supporter and boards who pay for gold membership. |

I honestly dont have time to go through the problem topics, and I wont likely have time to come back and check here, but out board http://mommyescape.yuku.com/ is having issues, new posts not showing, slow, posts showing on the main screen but not in the
actual forums. Please advise of your fix schedule.

I think on one board the main page is not updating in terms of most recent posts and even in terms of who's visiting. It hasn't done that since about

I have been very patient,and haven't said much as I realize that there would be teething problems. This is now getting
ridiculous as every night about the same time (11.00 PM EST) the yuku system is going down EVERYWHERE for me. I cannot get on my site as of this moment so
add me to your growing list of disgruntled members.

Getting the blank page again, but none of my friends are having the same issue again either. It was problem free the last 2 days after being down for awhile on Monday but now it's down for me again. It is really frustrating and I hope it comes back soon. |
