Access problem - timing out/extreme slowness

Posts: 8 8-May-08 12:32 PM	Woody's Diner chimeing in here; various issues when it comes to loading. People are complaining that thier browers are hanging up on certian forums (others have no problem), getting white pages/ Magic pages very regularly, other times it take up to three minutes to load a page that was replied, posts not be being posted, or posts being posted two or three times. Some days it is fine till 12:00 (PST), then it become useless to try and stay on the boards. Sometime the problems will follow to other boards, sometimes not. There is no set pattern, but at least once a day we can expect the board to not work. I don't know about the rest of the folks, but I am losing posters because of this. At one point I had at 10- 15 posts a day, now it is down to me and maybe one or two others.

Posts: 65 14-May-08 9:34 AM	Chris requested that I add my post to this thread... I was able to access yuku, briefly, earlier this morning. However, for the last thirty minutes I have been unable to access any part of yuku. Tried using different browsers and different computers...all I get is a white page. I had to use a proxy to access the bug forum and post about the problem.

Posts: 8 15-May-08 8:35 PM	White pages and refresh problems happening here too - http://ttcfriends.yuku.com/directory ALL our board users report it and our users are using a variety of o/s and browsers (macs running x + and firefox, safari, windows machines and whatever they use, microsoft gobbledygook etc.) This is 2 days now. Posts: 46 16-May-08 7:58 AM	Our board is still experiencing a lot of problems . . . yesterday we were getting white pages, timeout messages and "performing maintenance" pages for a while. Today we're still seeing reports of posts not showing up right away, and in one case an entire forum refused to show up for one person (the problem went away when she switched from Firefox to IE). ETA: And we're still having problems with the board server responding very slowly or not responding at all. (Lately I've spent at least half of my time on the board waiting for the server to do whatever I'm trying to get it to do instead of actually getting any work done.) It is not just me but also my members reporting it. I do not experience the slowness when coming to this board. Any suggestions to improve the loading times would be appreciated.

WE PAID FOR OUR BOARD AND THIS IS VERY IRRITATING NOT KNOWING ONE DAY FROM THE NEXT WHETHER OR NOT IT WILL WORK PROPERLY. THIS IS EZBOARD GLITCHES ALL OVER AGAIN! I paid for my board on ezboard ONCE and never renewed it because of this crap. My board wants to pay for a second year and i have not done it yet because you are on probation. get it right for the next year until the board runs out from the year ahead we already paid and then we wil renew. DON'T and it is sayonara suckas. FIX YOUR STUFF PLEASE. Boards who don't pay .... honestly who cares BUT WE PAY AND SO FAR THE PAST 2 OR 3 DAYS HAVE SUCKED AND WE HAVE NOT BEEN CREDITED WITH EXTRA DAYS TO YOUR TWEAKING AND MESSING THINGS UP. I mean I absolutely canot state this any clearer than that.

It loads and then I can't get into anything else (I am the admin/owner). Can't get in on Safari OR Firefox (mac). Couldn't even access the support forums! It's working now (obviously) but has been in and out all day. Thanks! PG

Posts: 24 20-May-08 1:19 AM	Yuku is sloooooooooow pretty much all over. My url though is http://archies.yuku.com ... your bugs forum is slow too. The rest of the net is fast. I use XP Home which has SP3 (service pack 3), an IE based broiwser Avant browser which is using IE7 as the platform. Basically though my board has been slow for about 3 or 4 days now I guesstimate. Also I should add that when i click on the help link on the bottom right more often than not it times out and i get the blank page telling I cannot connect to that webpage. Look seriously, this is Ezboard all over again ... YOU GUYS REALLY NEED TO GET THESE BUGS OUT AND THEN STOP PLAYING WITH THINGS FOR A WHILE SO PEOPLE DON'T GET MAD AND FEEL LIKE THEY WASTED THEIR MONEY PAYING FOR A BOARD HERE. ISP is comcast cable.
