Im on this stupid forum and I want to delete my profile, Im sure there are some good ones on yuku, but I want to delete my current profile and perhaps create
another one, can someone please tell me how, Im starting to get frustrated!

I have removed the boardname extension on your profile.
Profiles can't be deleted at this time, but you can have more than one profile on an account. To add a profile: Log into your Yuku account Click on the Navigation button On the right hand side there is a Create section Click on the profile link One note, if you are at a yuku board when you create the profile, your profile name will be username@boardname. If you don't want a profile with that format, go to the www.yuku.com home page or any profile page to create the profile. |

Actualy what I ment was I want my account deleted and then possibly I will create a new one, if you could do this I would greatly apriciate it. If not then I
have a question: if I stay loged out and dont use it, will it get deleted anyway? But if you could delete it asap, thanx!

Accounts can't be deleted right now either.. something about it causing problems on boards. You can always create a new account on a different email
address.

Can you advise when we are able to delete our profiles. I wish to leave this system but seem to be attached forever.
Ditto the board we asked NOT to be converted and yet it was against our request. One day it may disappear now we have deleted all posts and stopped anyone posting. Is this lack of being able to delete because there was an expectation a lot of people would want to be deleted from yuk rather than transferred from exboard? I just cannot see how it would "mess up" the boards at all. Surely a board can cope with a deleted member. |

We should really have the option to delete profiles which had been automatically migrated to yuku, willy-nilly. I have now three different IDs that I neither
want nor use.

I have 4, and I can get access only to 2 of them: one that I deleted months ago and that was taken over by a another user afterwards and one that I created
only in order to test if you can still create new accounts at all, since I hadn't got any e-mails from Ezboard (notifications of new replies and the ones
you used to get when you wanted to delete your account) for 3 weeks or so. I can't log into the one I posted with until the involuntary migration to Yuku
yesterday, and I don't get e-mails with the passwords for them either. I also can't change my e-mail address, because Yuku screams that the address is
already used by someone else. The two working accounts have the same e-mail address though.

Good question. The system includes profiles migrated from ezboard that represent people who posted on our board long ago and disappeared. It's in the nature of our board that members come and go. If these people who haven't been heard from in years changed their addresses since they registered at ezboard, and if they stopped using forums, they wouldn't have received the "You have been migrated..." e-mail and would have no idea they have a profile here. |

Reph, members come and go on boards surely as night follows day; it's the nature of board itinerants especially
board hoppers that I call "Seagull hoppers".
A beloved family member died recently. She left her Ezboard /Yuku account undeleted. We've no way of knowing her password or if, before she died, she deleted her E-mail address. I surmise we'll never know. Just one more Yuku statistic.

OK. SO can they at least make it so that when I log into a board and then visit another one, it doesn't name me "Herb4.previouslyvisitedboard?"
That makes ZERO sense to me and is very annoying. I'm posting stuff on boards that have no business with or interest in the "dot" part of my profile. Some of it, frankly, I'd like to remain private. Anything you can do about this would be great. |

Now people on the criminal justice boards I post on get to know about my foot fetish! Awesome! Not that I'm embarrassed by it, but I'd prefer it was kept private and not have to explain to anyone. Same as if I was a gay message board, a board with a particular political or religious theme or anything else. This is ridiculous. THIS profile is the one I want to use. Your boards seem to arbitrarily decide/automatically log me in under whatever name and profile it feels like. |
