Where to click to put the board announcement on all pages as well as the front page.

Well, having gone through all the settings again since posting this, I'm beginning to think perhaps we can't put it on other pages.
If this is so then that's a bummer. I am getting a lot of people coming in directly from google pages into the posts without touching the front page. I wanted to put the same announcement on all pages. It look like I might have to do something via the html. |

You can use the custom boxes script to accomplish this by putting something like this in the global html (footer)...
<box before="whosonline-box"> announcement text </box> |

Yes, thanks Dr. I have thought of that one. Although the last time I tried using it, it just sat alone as text with no border around it to make it look like
the other boxes.
It might have been that particular skin that didn't allow it to show up as a box so I might give it another try. |

This way is a bit of a pain, but you can also add the same announcement as you have on the front into each forums announcement box. You find that under Forums
& Chat management, edit.

That will add a padding. Dunno if you need the margin part or not |

Right, I couldn't get that code to work Dr. And as you said Zona adding an announcement to all forums would be a pain. I ended up using a second header -
<*div class="myheader2"> - along with the custom box. Worked a treat. But........ I still think there should be a choice to have an
announcement as board wide for those who can't play with css.
