Today someone's birthday is advertised in the community calendar at my board. But then I noticed that, at a different board, a different person's birthday was advertised. Then I clicked on my community calendar and I noticed that there are several birthdays in the month of July, but I only know one of those people. How does this work? Are community calendars different from board to board? Who enters the birthdays that appear in it?

The auto added birthdays on a calendar are based on some one posting on a board. So every board will have different birthdays. My board was part of a board hop
back in December, so we have several birthdays where I'm probably the only person who recognizes the names.

I usually recognize the names because of this board, gethelp and skins.
I took a look at your boards and the person with a birthday today is the last person to post in the board hop topic. |

Actually, the person whose birthday is today is not part of the board hop. But I do know her. I'm talking about the other people who are listed with
birthdays in the month of June. I don't know any of them. This of course is not a problem, it is just interesting that I have them on the list and I
don't know them. I even left "happy birthday" messages for some of them in the past. But since most of them did not respond, I assumed that they
don't want to be bothered and I stopped doing that. Now I only send a birthday message to people I know.
