Hello...I haven't been receiving my email notifications for the past 2 days. I've subscribed to several topics on Beauty Buzz and usually get
lots of email notifications daily.
I've checked my spam folder and nothing is there. Please help? Thanks a bunch and have a fantastic night!

What is your ISP? Did you later receive a flood of notifications, or have they still not shown up?

Alison...I'm having problems again with getting email notifications. This has been going on for three days now. I have a bunch of topics I subscribe to on
Beauty Buzz and not a single notification.

I also have not received any e-mail notifications for the past 2 or 3 days, and I am subscribed to threads on many boards. My ISP/e-mail is a cell phone carrier, and I am receiving all my other e-mails.

SciFiGuy...That's about the same amount of time I haven't received notification emails. Your not getting them on all of the boards you belong to?
It's weird because I got an email notification for this thread but still haven't gotten any for the other board. This is frustrating! |

Alison..I did get a flood of email notifications but for some reason, I'm getting them everytime someone posts on that forum and topics that I haven't
even subscribed to. But it's better than not getting any at all

My Email notifications have also stopped working again. This has happened before about 10 months ago. Currently, I haven't received any since 7/8/08 and
there have been lots of replies to threads I've subscribed to since then. I'm assuming whatever is wrong will eventually clear itself up, and I'll
receive tons of notifications from the last couple days. It sure is frustrating. Isn't there some way Yuku can prevent this kind of thing from occurring?

I am having this same problem, I have GMail ... how can this be fixed, that was one of the main selling points to setting up a Yuku board and now it
doesn't seem to work.

Weber, I know what you mean...That's what I liked about Yuku and it seems they experience quite a lot of problems. It's very frustrating.
I wasn't getting any email notifications for 3-4 days and then yesterday, I started getting notifications for topics I didn't even subscribe to...Everytime someone posts something, I get an email notification. They won't stop

I will ask a developer to check the log for your notifications.
Dreemesicle, when you check your subscriptions page, are there a lot of new ones that you didn't add there? |

As I mentioned in the other thread...
Oops, turns out it was my fault this time. My apologies. I must
have accidentally added a reply to my spam list (of which there are thousands of addresses). I unspammed the Yuku address and all is well again.

I got 4 email notifications yesterday from posts made anywhere from 1-2 weeks ago, not very timely...
I use Gmail and log in to the internet from both my home network and my network at work, so I don't see how there could be a problem w/ my ISP since I'm giving Yuku two cracks at it, unless there is an issue with Yuku and Gmail?? |

that could be a mail server on our side that went down and was restarted. Were they duplicates? Were they all from the same board? had you been receiving
notifications before this?

Here we go again...A few days later and having the same problems AGAIN. Alison, I looked into it and it has nothing to do with AOL, my isp...There are many
others having this same issue with YUKU. This is obviously an ongoing problem with YUKU according to many members and unfortunately, it doesn't look like
it will ever be resolved. I depend on these notifications and quite honestly, don't have the time to sift through all the posts. I suppose it's time to
return to the Delphi Forums, afterall, I never experienced a single problem in the many years I've been a member. It's a shame this matter couldn't
be resolved because I'm just one of many members that won't be contributing to YUKU.
