Plum Tuckered! You're right! I'd forgotten, to about all the musicals about Christmas. Wish I could remember the names.
Hi Karen -- glad you like it here.

I've been trying hard to think of any cartoons I may have liked as a kid. I know they aired Charlie Brown, Rudolph, and all the usuals but I don't
think I have any that I loved. I just know I stuck to "A Christmas Story" while growing up.
I *know* no one has heard of this movie called "The Monster's Christmas" and I can't find it on iMDB. In the 80s, my mother recorded it on the vcr amongst other christmas shows. I still own this VHS and it's like a hodge podge of various christmas movies/cartoons. One part on it was of this movie about a little girl who reads a book on Christmas eve and wakes in the morning to find a friendly monster. She then goes on a journey with the monster who was cursed by a witch that made him lose his voice. |

Oh If we are talking about kids films then I loved Monsters Inc. I also loved The Santa Claus. Wasn't that the one where the chap that is in Numbers was
the elf??

They have polar express out now in 3D. I really love that movie, it leaves you with such a good feeling inside. You should make sure you see it.

Have never seen "Miracle on 34th Street" but it was on "our" (UK) TV last night so I recorded it
Hope it's worth it
For some reason El Cid was an Xmas regular over here - but it goes on for something like 14 hours (it seemed) and nobody ever stayed awake long enough. paul4 |

My husband and I lived in Cleveland OH for many years (he grew up just outside of Cleveland) and neither of us never made it to see the house that was used in the movie. I'm so mad at myself for that. It's one of the things I wanted to do... but never really rushed to do because we didn't think we'd move so far away from Cleveland. They turned it into a museum for the movie and it would have been really great to see I've been to the Rock n Roll Hall
of Fame, but never to the A Christmas Story house (also, by the way, every time I see a box that has 'fragile' written on it I have to say "fra-
gee-lay, that must be Italian.")
Otherwise, the Charlie Brown Christmas movie is one of my favorites as well.
