It seems to me that the new Member Management system isn't as good as the old one. Sure, its got a lot of bells and whistles, and I dare say they're
great, and I'll find a use for many of them. But its one heck of a lot more difficult to use than the old one. The way the old groups used to work was much
better than the new 'lists', or whatever they're called. It's essential to me that I be able to base security around the groups (or whatever)
I've placed members in - and without having to look at a Word or Excel document I have on my PC at home to tell me what group I placed the members in when
they joined! I could do this under the old Yuku system, but now we seem to have a system that's actually worse than the old Ezboard one, in terms of
usability, if not of features. It seems I have to manage everyone individually now, or at least click their names on a list - when I have no way of knowing
which names I need to click!
Why introduce a new system that's not as good as the old one? Is it going to work better eventually, or should I abandon my plans to migrate my Ezboard over? The new group management was one of the main things I was using to try and convince other members of my board to migrate - and now its gone. This is all very frustrating.
