"Is it possible to set a minimal number of posts before someone can apply for access to an MBA forum? "yes, but not without using invisible. At the moment that is how the current system works. There are updates in the pipes.
- Go to manage forums and chat and click security for the forum in question.
- Set the forum to be invisible and click by approval
- Click to edit exceptions next to the invisible option, and enter the post count that you want to allow applications at.
- Don't add any exceptions next to the by approval option.
You could consider making a dummy forum to indicate that it's there, but is not clickable for example.
