I think it was about this time last year that a few people were complaining that Yuku was focusing too much on profiles because of a few pushes that were
geared to profiles and not too much on the message boards.
I suspect that would happen again if the focus shifted to profiles and blogging again. It's an unfortunate thing, but I see it happening.
Never having blogged before, or really done anything on Myspace, my profile sometimes leaves me at a loss. I'm trying to do both on mine, which is obviously not working very well :p I'm trying to make the profile a "Hey! This is me! This is what I like!" and at the same time, my blog is stuck at the bottom saying "And here's what's going on...." (this is where I stick in one of my desires for the profiles) I would actually like to be able to move my blog over to column a on my profile as the blog I did decide to keep it as updates on the goings on for the message board rather a personal blog (because I'm just not that entertaining of a person in my day to day life. My blog entries would be every day the same "Woke up, got the husband off to work, tripped over the cat, made coffee"). That way the blog wouldn't be stuck down at the bottom of the page and my profile could feel a little bit more like both promotion for the board and 'get to know/interact with me'.
