yuku knew that some users would object to ads in our profiles. It couldn't be clearer. Why else would the new Terms of Use include a penalty for blocking ads and a statement that yuku owns my profile?

So a user finds ads for porn sites, for instance, in her profile (yes, porn sites; what do you think those "chat rooms" are?) and decides to leave yuku. Can she delete her profile? No, she can't do that, either.

Obviously, yuku didn't expect all users to accept ads that some find objectionable, so it created Terms of Use that force the ads on us. "They won't want this. Well, we'll just make them put up with it."

As I posted in another thread, a business can't thrive by beating its customers into submission.
