Von, IMNSHO...............no matter where you go on the internet you always risk getting a virus or malware or trojans or whatever. You run that risk when turn on your computer.

In order to protect yourself make sure you have current security releases of any browser you are using, IE, Firefox etc, firewalls turned on, ad blocking programs turned on, anti-virus programs on and ALL should be current.

Will this completely protect you? Only until somebody else figures out a way to get around the new security measures. Thats' just life on the internet.

Having said all that, I can only remember one other time when I encountered a problem with ads and it was on the old ezboards (from whence yuku came to be). However it wasn't malware it was a simple problem of bad java in an ad.
