How can I make it so that I dont need to accept new members? |

And it accepts them automatically, without them having to send me a message and me having pending requests?

1. go to your board.
2. click "Admin" on the navigation bar 3. click "Community Security Settings" link 4. for "Community Access" check either "everyone" or "registered users" 5. scroll down and click the "Submit" button With those security settings, all someone needs to do to become a member at your board is post in an open forum. They can reply to an existing topic or start a new one of their own. With their first post, they will be added to your member list automatically.

for "Community Access" check either "everyone" or "registered users"
Taking this a bit further, checking "registered users" requires one to be logged into Yuku to read your board. Logged in visitors will be allowed to post without applying for membership. Checking "everyone" allows non-logged in internet users to read your board. Of course, one would need to be logged into a Yuku account to post.

If you choose one of the settings Silver Dollar mentions, members won't have to apply. They'll simply be able to start posting.

The Creator wrote: Although your main security is so that all members can view and come right in, two of your forums require membership, only the topmost forum is fully public. Your other forums: you have one MBA forum (your admin forum which you should probably make invisibe) and the other forum has teaser (topic). This too requires an application. To change your forum settings, click on forum & chat Mgmt. Then click on settings next to the forum you wish to make public. In the reading restrictions section, make sure that only 'no view restrictions' is checked. This will make the forum public. Posting restrictions section: check the radio button in the 'all' column for lead and reply. |
