When I am in my group tags and snags2 my avatar isn't showing up on my posts. Also when someone clicks on my name they get error 404 profile not found. I
can get to my profile from the top of the page but not from this group. Can you help me please...

We have a new member at our board who uploaded an avatar. He also uploaded some photos to a Yuku album but when people click on his name to view his photos, it
comes up with a "404 profile not found" message.
I managed to get into his profile from the board's membership list. The weird thing is that the profile that is accessible is at http://billy-sinclair.u.yuku.com/ whereas, when I click on his username on his messages, it comes up with a slight difference - http://billy-sinclair.e.yuku.com/ and that one is the 404 error but his avatar is showing okay. As he's new, I thought I'd do the reporting for him and hope this bug can be fixed soon.

Thanks for the report, I've submitted a bug report on this.
His avatar is not showing in the post at this time. I looked in your cp to see if you had disabled it, but you have not. I'll check again tomorrow, I kind of expect the default avatar to show in his posts. Should you need to send him a message from the board, you can click on message me and replace the .e with .u, then reload the page. |

I can't even log in to the help desk now. I received an email telling me to go check it out at the help desk and it says I don't have enough permission
or something to that effect. I have two profiles in Yuku...one is just tazman and one is tazman238. I can't log into yuku with the first one but I can view
it through the group tags & snags2. I don't have switch user on any of my profiles. Here is a link from the group to view my first profile. If you
click on my name it goes to tazman profile which is the first profile I made in Yuku. The manager at tags & snags2 deleted my membership under tazman....so
I rejoined under tazman238. Maybe that is the reason...I don't know. But I still should be able to log in to Yuku with both profiles, right?

Can the people at Yuku delete both my profiles? If they did could I start over again? Could I use the tazman238 one then again?
This is getting tiring dealing with this for over two weeks.

http://gethelp.yuku.com/topic/2637 The reason why it says you don't have enough permission is because you click on the link in your email without being logged in to your help desk account. The error will go away as soon as you log in. Please read the above link carefully. However, I replied to your ticket, saying there was no need to use two help sources at once to report the same thing. You didn't mention login issues on your ticket, you just mentioned the same thing you did here in your lead post. I had already replied to your topic here whwen you submitted the ticket. There is no need to delete anything. What you're dealing with here on the Tazman238 profile is a bug. It is a bug that hits some accounts here and there. Deleting it isn't possible, plus it wouldn't be a guarantee that it won't ever happen again. It just needs to be looked at by a developer and he will fix it. The bug report has been submitted and is waiting for a developer to be looked at now. The problem is only on one board and it won't happen on other boards. As you can see, your profile is fine here at this board/ I know it is annoying when you have to deal with this, but it is only a matter of time before it gets fixed. Yes you can use your other account, but since you're already established with this one, maybe it is just better to wait until this one is fixed. The issue doesn't affect your ability to post or to log in. Your other account.. what happens when you try to log in? Did you forget your password? You can reset your password, just put your email in the login box and click 'forgot password'. Then follow the instructions. |

Thank you, sorry I was a bit upset because I can't see my avatar.... I have figured out the first account it was my password..are they going to fix the 404
error also and put a switch user thing on my profile?

Yes we will fix the tazman238 profile. It is waiting for a developer to look at.
in order to be able to switch between the two profiles, you need to have both of them on the same account. We can arrange this via the help desk later, but I'd suggest we wait first to have your tazman238 account fixed, then we can move your other profile onto your tazman238 account and you will be able to access both profiles with the same login |
