I have tried to add an avatar and I am unable to. What am I doing wrong?

I just changed my avatar as well and its not showing the new one. like other people, the old avatar pic has been deleted and its still showing up. do i still
have to wait 3 days before there is a change?

It won't necessarily be 3 days, could update at any time within the 72 hour span. At this time I am still seeing your old avi in your posts though.

I just uploaded a new avatar about two hours ago. It shows up fine in posts I have made since then. However in all of my previous posts, I still have the
generic blue boy avatar. Will I have to wait up to 72 hours before this changes, or is this an anomaly.
Also, when I click on my avatar or my screen name in my posts, I am directed to a 404 error screen, that says I cannot be found... however when I click on account, I go to my profile page instantly. I have my photograph on the tinnitus support forum. I have tried to change the avatar photo - about 24 hours ago but the old one is still there. I want it

It can take up to 72 hours for the avatar to update on the board. If you really need to get your old avatar off of there immediately, you could ask an admin of
the board to disable your avatar on the board for the weekend. Sorry for the trouble.
