Bad to the Bone Bob had his avatar blocked on this board many, many months ago because he played a bit of a joke.

The avatar wasn't rude or obscene but it was more of a negative remark towards Yuku at that time.

The staff decided it wasn't appropriate and blocked it. He changed it directly but none of the then staff saw fit to lift the block.

As a Christmas gesture can I personally ask the staff to now lift the block so Bob can use his favourite name in all it's glory.

This board is now having a massive change along with changes in staff. It would be so nice if all the bannings, blockings and posting restrictions could all have a fresh start.

Do all let's start getting once again a fun atmosphere going on this our Members Lobby by having an armistice.

#1 - I'm curious why you think this is your business - Bob's avatar?
#2 - Do you really think that a change in staff means bannings, blockings and posting restrictions are no longer valid? Perhaps you are not privy to the reasons people were blocked?
#3 - an Armistice would suggest that there are hostilities being perpetuated by both sides. Surely you are not suggesting that users who violate the TOU of this board are the victims of hostilities by staff, are they? Users who have been banned, blocked, restricted as far as I can tell, have all done something wrong. Since yuku are trying to run a business I don't see that there is any reason for yuku to let up on the rules just because some users cannot abide by them.

Perhaps a better Christmas request would be if you requested that your fellow users found a more appropriate and mature outlet for their frustrations.

I don't see any frustration in that post. I'm asking Zandranna questions. Why is Bob's avatar any of her business? Why is the banning of anyone other than her, her business? I think those are valid questions. If her original post is valid than surely a contrary opinion is valid as well, is it not?

To me it would seem that her post is nothing more than a ruse to ingratiate herself with users while making staff appear to be the bad guys. I think yuku users are far more intelligent than to fall for that, don't you? Staff are not the bad guys. They're simply doing their job and it doesn't take a staff member to see that.

If Zandranna was really willing for there to be some sort of Christmas goodwill she would not have posted a topic regarding a negative subject which is none of her business in the first place.
