Could someone please tell me how to get rid of my yuku site? I don't see an option to delete it anywhere. I have come to love Multiply as there are so many
more features there but I am being held captive here. I want out pleaseeee!!

Delete or hide your forums, put up an announcement and just abandon it.

I wonder why Yuku insists of holding us hostage here? It says feature to delete was disabled sorry for the inconvenience. Ya right it's been over a month
now.

There never has been an option to delete a board. There was an option to delete a profile. However, it was discovered over time that this was causing problems
with the boards and the delete option was removed.
There is nothing keeping you here. If you want to lose your profile, just clear it out and abandon it. |

The rather large announcement at the top of that board clearly states:
Starting today, gethelp will no longer serve as a help forum. For all your questions and help queries, please go to |

They are in violation of their own terms of use. have you read them?? says we can terminate at any time for any
reason.
We had this discussion a month ago. My suggestion was to add this little ditty to the TOU: For technical reasons, members currently can't delete profiles or accounts. Members wishing to relinquish a profile or account should file a help ticket, and alternatives will be offered.Approximately the same verbiage should be applicable to boards. If you file a ticket, staff should be able to dissociate you from your board and board up its windows. |

If you went back to your post then I'm sure you noticed my reply to you where I stated that we do work with people to find solutions. The delete option was not removed intentionally, it had to be removed because it no longer worked after we had undergone some code changes. It is on the list of the developers to re-build this option. In the meantime, we help where we can by finding various solutions if people really want to get rid of their accounts. We want the delete option back as much as you do. |

I had a couple of boards when I first came over last year that I messed up.......I have cleared them completely I had
another 2 fairly active ones that died on me so did the same to them.....Thought about a different type of board....tried to make one and it wont let me. I put
a ticket in and they said they could take them away from my account {which I assume means I could start another one} but up to now. 3 days later they haveent
done a thing.....tempted to go somewhere else.

Hileena, since you replied to your ticket on the 14th, you have replied twice more to ask when the boards (groups) will be removed from your account. The
tickets are worked in the order in which they are received, from oldest to newest. When you reply to your ticket, it automatically becomes "new"
again and moves to the bottom of the queue, which is where it is now. Please resist the urge to reply to your ticket unless you have important information to
add to it so you don't lose your place in line.
The Helpdesk isn't manned 24/7. Our goal is to reply to tickets within 24 hours. It's often less than that, but if we are shorthanded, if there is some type of unusual situation that generates extra tickets, or on a weekend or holiday, it may take a bit longer. Your account has been reset to allow you to create another community now. That should tide you over until someone works your ticket again and removes the unwanted boards from your account. |
