Posts: 4 22-Dec-08 6:09 PM	Tags : logout, different board Hi, sorry if this has been raised, but it's just something I've noticed in the last couple of days. The last three times I've logged off, it comes up with the usual prompt asking if I'm sure I want to log off. When I say yes, it process it and then dumps me onto a completely different board. This isn't a huge deal, but there's obviously something going on that's not right. I didn't note the board name the first time it happened, but it's happened twice today (so far it seems to be a different, random board each time). ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 13731 22-Dec-08 9:42 PM Yuku Help	This was reported a while back by someone else, but I don't think we actually found a solution for that, or figured out what caused it. Have you ever been to those boards before? What browser do you use?

Posts: 9389 23-Dec-08 8:02 AM	It annoys me greatly when I use the link from my notification email to approve comments and then when I have done that I am taken immediately to the place I was before that. It's rarely the place I want to be. It also tends to confuse me slightly and make me forget what I was doing. Then I often end up wandering around the house wondering what is going on. Please fix it, for my sanity's sake!

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 13731 23-Dec-08 11:05 AM Yuku Help	It happens to me a lot, but I always get taken to the board I was at before, not to a random board. When I am in a different account, I usually go to support to log out. Reason: on any board where I have logged in before, I make SeaMonkey remember my login so I get a pop-up from which I can choose the account I wish to log in with. Thus I go to support to log out, expecting the pop up which makes it quick and easy to log in again. It happened just now. I was at niketalk with a different account, went to support to log out and upon logging out I was taken back to niketalk. I noticed the problem goes away if you click on a forum or a topic, or anything on the page before you log out.

Posts: 4 24-Dec-08 11:26 PM	No, I don't visit any yuku boards at all besides my home board, so I'd never been to any of the other sites before. If it helps, I think one time I was in the "add a post" screen, decided I didn't really have anything to post, and logged out from there. But the other times I was in general areas that I didn't need to be logged in to see. My browser info: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 Again, it's not a huge deal, but just thought I'd make the report.

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 1775 3-Jan-09 11:46 AM The puck stops here	I hadn't reported this as I didn't know if was happening to others and I was never able to figure out why. but this was happening to my sister. It was only on her laptop (Vista) and only with Firefox. Any time she logged out, she'd be taken to a different board. Boards that she had never been to, though I have and since it was a brand new computer, I hadn't used it to view those boards. I tested it out then and it happened to me as well with FF but not with IE. Right now the computer is waiting to go to the shop so I don't know if it is still happening. Neither of us has had the problem with other computers.
