Very disconcerning .... I don't like being hijacked. I didn't think any ad should be redirecting, makes me concerned about malware.

Ad hijacking from profile... |

Okay (Jibril here!!!), this is quite possibly the weirdest thing, but when I went to my profile, the ad loaded slowly and when it did it redirected me to this
http://www1.freebrandgive...s=35342&em=&se=01
Took me off my profile and to that ad.

The cache isn't the problem. It isn't doing it any longer. It was the way the ad loaded on my profile
(Gabriel is my other personality by the way )

Hey Jib, good to see you but not good that you got hijacked by an ad. I dunno, if I were you I'd post this in the bugs forum or fill out a ticket, or
both.
How is that sweet bundle of joy doing? Any new pics? |

Hi Red and MJM!
The little terror is doing well (yes finally asleep tonight. He was fighting it though, just like his mother )
I'm waiting on my father to get some of the new pictures sent to me. My parents came to KC from Pennsylvania last weekend to see him (their first grandchild so you know it was a big deal!) and took a lot of pictures. They're just now recovering from the trip so hopefully they'll get the pics sent off soon. They had a time zone change so they were dead tired when they got back. I'm not having any luck getting my own pics of him. He keeps moving everytime I take a picture of him
Thank you Marty

Well please don't forget us, I'd love to see pics of the little man. Where in Pa. do your parents live? Eastern or central or western Pa.?

Oh definitely more pictures and add some to your profile (only when you are not so tired and have the time) in birth order as it is good to see the changes and
growing. Your profile should now be full of baby stuff.

Northwestern Pa, I grew up in Erie. I travel to Erie a lot, especially in the summer time. We like to cruise up to the Bayfront in our hot rods. I live in a small town in NE Ohio, Ashtabula about 40 miles from Erie. |

You live in Ashtabula?!? Oh wow! I lived there for about 2 years (we moved to Lorain in 1999, that's where my husband's from). I used to work for 102
Zoo (dunno if that station is still around) and worked at WFUN before that back in those days (left radio all together after 102 Zoo fired me). We had an
apartment on the corner of Bridge Street and Lake Ave in the Harbor. Nice little place, but in the summer it was so noisy when the bars let out at night.

102 Zoo is now our oldies station, I love it. It isn't located near south park any more, it was relocated to Jefferson. In fact Bollmer isn't
around any more either, there was some gossip going on about him but it was so long ago I can't remember exactly why he left. WFUN is still going strong
but that is because it was bought out by one of the big companies.
Bridge Street is still the same, so is Harbor Ave. They have done some nice remodeling around Point Park (where the marine museum is) and some other work
but we are still an old little town with not much going on. It is still the same old same old here. Its' all who you know and what your last name is that
will get you what you need.

Oh thank God Bollmer's gone! He gave me the creeps.
I'm trying to think if I worked with Mark Alan... the name is so familiar and I want to say he was the music director at the time, but I could be wrong. That's a thing I always found interesting about Ashtabula. The reason I got fired from 102 Zoo was because I made a judge's wife mad
Long story....
It doesn't sound like too much has changed there... just enough has though to keep it interesting
But yeah, we lived in Lorain for about a year. My husband grew up there, his mom still lives in the area (she moved out of Lorain but can't remember where she moved to, one of the towns right around there). When we lived there we lived right near Elyria too. Well closer to Amhurst, but on the south end of
Lorain.

I've been sitting here trying to remember why Bollmer left but I just can't remember the details so I really can't say. I met him once or twice
and he never left me with a good impression. I can't say he gave me the creeps but he certainly didn't impress me.

I can't remember which judge, I wish I could!
What happened was in that winter of 98-99 when we had all the snow (so much so they had to issue the warnings that if you didn't need to leave your home, not to... sort of like this winter from what I understand ) I had just gotten off the air saying "We don't have any school closing reported yet,
please don't call the station, we need to keep the lines open if the schools need to call us, as soon as we hear something, I'll let you know right
away" (I was working 12 am to 6 am so I got the lovely job of always dealing with school closings in the winter). No sooner than I had closed the mic and
headed back to the break room to put on a pot of coffee for Alex and Chip than the phone rings and it's this judge's wife asking for school closings. I
had a 4 and a half minute song on, only long enough to run back to the break room and back. I picked up the line in the lobby, felt like screaming, asked her
to hold as I put the phone down to go back to the studio to que the next song so I'd be ready after dealing with her. While I was going to the studio, I
was muttering obscenities about her... or I thought I was muttering... somehow she heard me and complained later that afternoon and I was fired.
As for Bulmer, he hit on me a lot when I worked there, that's why he gave me the creeps. One afternoon when I had to come in to pick up my paycheck, he had a ten minute conversation with me, though mostly it seemed as if he was talking to my breasts, not me. CJ, who was doing afternoons then, used to have to rescue me from him. He'd often corner me by the studio door so CJ would find an excuse to drag me into the studio

I love living so close to the lake, it is absolutely wonderful spring summer and fall, winter not so much. Although when it freezes over it is a stunning sight to see. The judges wife, was she a short brunette? If so I think I know who you are talking about. Not a nice lady, liked to throw her weight around. Still does try even though they are divorced. Heh heh heh.... Pomtroll......Chardon Ohio, used to be my old stompin' grounds as a teen. Loved driving up there to go to Grants. Originally I lived in the tiny town of Hartsgrove. I've been to Alpine Valley many many many times, not that I ski. I knew some folks that worked there. That is the heart of the snowbelt down there. Btw Pom, we still take Rt. 20 to Rt. 5 to go up to New York. It is a beautiful drive, especially with the hot rods. |

I think we're talking about the same person, MJM. I don't think I ever met her but that's seems familiar for a description.
And I always perfered taking RT5 over I 90 when traveling around between New York, PA and Ohio For awhile when they were repaving I 90 it was faster, but
during the summer, it was such a lovely trip.
One thing I miss is Geneva on the Lake. Silly as that sounds, but we always liked going up there just to walk around, get some food at that one place... I can't remember the name, but it had been there forever, the had burgers and such, right near the arcade.... |
