Firefox/Yuku extension
If you use firefox you can download the yuku firefox extension. This extension notifies you of any activities on your active yuku profile no matter where you are on the internet.

After download and installation, a yuku logo will appear in your status bar on the bottom right of your screen as seen in the screen shot below.
Make sure that your status bar is enabled. If not, click on "view" in your browser, then on "status bar" in order to enable it.
Menu
Click on the yuku logo in your status bar to display the menu.
Yuku Homepage
Click on homepage to load the yuku homepage screen.
Logout
Click here to log out of your yuku account.
My account
Mouse over 'account' to access your yuku account.
Messages, friends, comments, image comments, (profile tags)
When any activity happens on your active profile such as incoming messages, friends requests, comments, etc... the little green light next to the yuku icon in your status bar will start to flash. Click on the yuku logo to see your menu and find out whether you have a new friend, a message, a comment to your profile, etc..
Your menu will specify what kind of activity has taken place. In the example, the profile has two new messages and 1 friend request.
*Note on profile tags: When users add tags to your profile, the yuku extension notifies you. However, adding tags to other user's profiles is currently not available. Should it become available again, this section will be edited accordingly.
Access your yuku inbox from anywhere on the web.
Provided that you stay logged in to your yuku account, you can access your yuku inbox from anywhere on the web.
Click on the yuku logo in your status bar. Mouse over messages, find this screen and use the options..
Favourite links
You can add up to 10 links in this section for easy access. Mouse over 'favourite links' and click on the link of your choice. You don't need to be on yuku, you can do this from any place on the internet.
Search
Mouse over 'search' for easy access to yuku profiles search, ezboard/yuku domain search and google search.
Google bar
When you're on a yuku board, click on the google bar to see threads of that board available through google.
Alexa bar
Click on the alexa bar to find how yuku does in the alexa ranking. It will provide details on page view, rankings, reach per million users. Here you will also find a list of most visited yuku boards.
Set keyboard shortcuts
You can set keyboard shortcut for several actions, such as opening your inbox, replying to topics, etc..
Click on the yuku logo in your status bar.

Log in to your yuku account from anywhere.

Get notification of activities on your profile as often as you wish
Click on the yuku logo in your status bar.
Click on options
Open the dropdown menu next to "refresh menu" and choose how often you wish to be notified of activities. You can pick anything between every minute to once every hour.
