The wysiwyg editor in your skin list can be used to help you create a new skin or change an existing one.
Go to your Community Skins list ( Admin - Design - Skins - Customized Skins )
You should see something like this:
When the page opens you will see a split screen. The Category page of your skin will display on the top and the
General tab of the editor will display on the bottom. You can scroll the length of either.
Click this thumbnail to view:
When you make a skin with this editor you will see all the pages. Even if you are making the skin only for "inside" forums,
the front page (Category page with the forum listings), will always show each time you click on the "preview" button at the bottom.
The first tab on the editor, General, sets basic styles for the page.

Now we will add a few things to the general section as follows:
That will make the 3 main pages ( Category, Forum and Topic) look like this respectively:
The red part is the table. The Category, Forum and Topic boxes all have tables within them. With the previous additions to the editor, all pages have the same table colors and backgrounds. The editor has a tab for Category, Forum and Topic separately also with a space for table colors and backgrounds. But, if you want the colors the same on all tables, you only need to enter the background, color and borders on the General tab.
Now on to the next tab, Links. If no colors are assigned to the links they will default to blue and to a violet shade when visited. If you want the link colors to stay the same all the time you can just add the color to the "All Links" area. If you want them to change colors or styles after they are visited or hovered over, then add different colors to those areas.
The links tab will color all links on the board unless you have defined them elsewhere.
Here is what the tab looks like:
And here is a view with some colors added:
Next comes the Boxes tab. The board is basically made up of many boxes or divisions. The red tables are in the Category,
Forum and Topic boxes. These are also called collectively, Community content boxes.
There are also Extra Content boxes on the board that go above and below the Community Content boxes. They generally fall in this order:
Tool-box
Announcement-box
Control-box-top
[Community content box(es)]
Control-box-bottom
whosonline-box (this one may be in this position or at the top of the page after the announcements, depending upon the board setttings)
Stats-box
Legend-box
All of the boxes have a box division, 3 onionskins and a boxbody. Most have boxheadings, but the whosonline and announcement boxes do not.
